I just want my teeth a little straighter... So how do you get your teeth straight if you are an adult?
Well there are a few ways... By far the most popular way is orthodontics, the techniques I recommend are 6 Month Braces or Invislign.
Traditionally, adults were quite resistant to having orthodontics done. This was partly because of the appearance and also the fact that most orthodontic offices are geared toward children. The gentle straightening system I recommend utilises a tooth coloured band to gently straighten and align your teeth, it is kind to your mouth and doesn't stand out like the more traditional ugly metal braces. The best part is in most cases it only takes 6 months.
Now there is also a revolutionary way of getting your teeth straightened without braces. Invislign is a new way of straightening teeth using clear plastic aligners that are nearly invisible. Because the aligners are quite difficult to see and there are no sharp edges, we are finding hugh numbers of adults are interested in strightening their teeth with invislign.

Cancer Council’s Relay For Life is more than just a fundraiser. It is an opportunity to get together with your community and celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back against a disease that takes too much.
Relay For Life is a unique event where teams of 10 to 15 friends, families or colleagues challenge themselves to take turns to keep a baton moving in a relay style walk or run overnight. There are no age limitations or fitness requirements – Relay For Life is suitable for everyone and anyone can join in the fun! Stay for the whole event, camp overnight, or just visit and enjoy the free entertainment, prizes and ceremonies that make Relay For Life so inspirational.

Community Dental Day:
On Friday December 11, 2009, Dr Lincoln Harris and his team at Harris Dental Boutique will dedicate a full day to see as many patients as possible for Free Dental Treatment. This day is the first Community Dental Day Harris Dental Boutique will hold, there are plans for more Community Dental Days in 2010. Dr Harris said "It's not just me, but my entire team at Harris Dental Boutqiue would like to give back to the community, this is just one way we know how".
Harris Dental Boutique Staff Scholarship for Teaching Excellence.
Every year Harris Dental Boutqiue offers a Teacher at St Luke's Anglican School in Bundaberg a Scholarship. This allows teachers to attend a conference for professional and personal development.
This year Mr Bernie O'Sullivan (head of Mathematics) was the recipient of this Scholarship. Mr O'Sullivan attended the inaugural New Zealand Interactive Whiteboard Conference held at Westlakes Girls High in Auckland.
As a result of attending Mr O'Sullivan has brought back many ideas for further implementation at the school.
Harris Dental Boutique congratulates Mr O'Sulliavan. Offering this scholarship to the teachers of St Luke's will undoubtedly have a positive effect on the whole school and enhance the teaching practices.

The Forget Me Not Children’s Home opened our door to 6 beautiful girls in January 2006, then in Dec 2006 our 10 girls moved to a new large house. We now support 21 beautiful little girls and six local orphanage staff. The organisation runs on a firm foundation, raising funds here in Australia which go direct to the orphanage in Kathmandu. Our ever-growing support from corporate, community and individual supporters, all sharing the Association’s Vision, is truly a gift of generosity and love.

Harris Dental Boutique is pround to support the centenary celebrations of Wallaville State School
November 21, the gates and registration will open at 9am. Classroom and historical displays will be open for general public before the Official Program at 11am.
Upon registration a number of items are available for sale. These include: Stubby Coolers, Centenary Book, Rulers, Mugs and Bags. A 'Wishing Tree' has also been established for people to donate and contribute to our new library (coming 2011). A book seller will be on site to assist you with your selection.
Morning Tea is available from 9am so join us at 'The Whipcrack Cafe' for delicious scones, tea and coffee.
The Official Opening commences at 11am and includes showcasing our Ensemble, The Centenary Book Launch as part of the Q150 Celebration, Speeches, Time Capsule and Cutting of the Cake.
Join us for lunch starting at 12noon.
From 12-4pm Market Stalls and Amusement Rides will be available on our oval. A Fully Licensed Bar will be ooperating from 12noon. Registration for the Centenary Cup, WALLA vs. DRINAN will be taken in readiness for a fierce and friendly competition as our last event of the day!
